It’s such a sweet and meaningful mission that Russian designer Alena Akhmadullina through her creativity, as stated in her brand official website, wants to gives “an opportunity to modern women to feel a fairy tale in real life.” In the busy-bustling world of ambition and depression, fairy tale keeps people dreaming and also being reminded about morality.
Just like a fairy tale, Alena Akhmadulina’s collection – including this Resort 2020 – is filled with romantic feeling. However, it is a mislead to imagine her pieces as old fashion. She retells the tale in modern language. The clothes speak relevancy with current life; the way a fairy tale is indeed about its relevance to the time its being read.
In simple words, this Resort 2020 collection by the label established in 2001 is modern fairy tale. In those creations, the wearer seems to be assigned to play a character. Either in a loose shirt dress, quilted cape in warm brown, deep gray coat with fur lapel, quilted robe in pumpkin shade, big-pocketed vest, or contemporary cocoon-sleeve dress, the character appears to live a chick storyline with a happy ending.
